I think of myself as a person who doesn't like a routine. I fight
doing the same things at the same time everyday. I try not to get stuck
on things like coffee to start the mornings and meal times. I resist
daily rituals and flexibility is a word that often comes up when I
describe the life I would like to live. I always prefix the word
discipline with gentle and inner.
Yet this blog is called Making a habit of it and discipline always features in the list of things I would like to bring into my life. In getting exercise, in the direction of my thoughts, in mindfulness and everyday practices like meditation. Find the perfect balance between the two is a long cherished li'l wish.
